ARTISANAL HERB TRUFFLES 🌿🍫

A silky, aromatic truffle built on herb‑infused cream and a clean cannabis infusion that blends seamlessly into the ganache. The result is a smooth, botanical chocolate bite with a warm, consistent edible experience.

Category: Confection / Botanical
Difficulty: Intermediate
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours (including chilling)
Servings: 12 truffles
THC per serving: Approximately 5–10mg per truffle

Terpene Pairing: Best paired with strains high in Myrcene or Linalool. Myrcene deepens the chocolate and herb notes, while Linalool adds a floral softness that complements the ganache.

Dosage Information: Each truffle contains approximately 5–10mg THC depending on the potency of your infusion. PLEASE CONSUME RESPONSIBLY AND START LOW, GO SLOW. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Effects may take 30–90 minutes to onset. Wait at least 2 hours before considering additional consumption. Do not drive or operate machinery.

Decarboxylation Instructions: Preheat your oven to 240°F. Break up 3.5g of cannabis flower into small, even pieces and spread it across a parchment‑lined baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even activation. Let cool completely before using.

Infusion Instructions (Cannabis‑Infused Cream): In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup heavy cream with your decarbed cannabis. Heat on the lowest setting for 45 minutes, never boiling, keeping the temperature below 180°F to preserve aromatics. Strain through cheesecloth into a heat‑safe container. This infused cream will be your infusion medium.

Ingredients: 8 oz dark chocolate (finely chopped), 1/2 cup cannabis‑infused cream, 1/4 cup fresh herbs (mint, basil, or rosemary), 1 tbsp butter, pinch of salt, cocoa powder for coating.

Instructions: Warm the infused cream gently with the herbs until just steaming, then remove from heat and steep for 10 minutes. Strain out the herbs. Pour the warm cream over the chopped chocolate and let sit 1 minute. Add the butter and stir slowly until smooth and glossy. Chill the ganache until firm enough to scoop. Roll into small balls and coat in cocoa powder or finely chopped herbs. Chill again to set.

Chef Tips: Use high‑quality chocolate for the best texture. Never boil the cream—heat destroys herb aromatics and destabilizes ganache. Let truffles mature overnight for deeper flavor.

Serve immediately. Enjoy responsibly 🌿🍫
