* 10mg THC total cannabis tincture
* 5-6 fresh blackberries
* 2-3 fresh sage leaves
* 1/2 oz simple syrup or honey syrup
* 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
* 4 oz sparkling water or light ginger ale
* Fresh ice
* Garnish: A whole blackberry and a fresh sage leaf
INSTRUCTIONS:
* In the bottom of a glass, place the blackberries, sage leaves, and simple syrup.
* Muddle firmly until the berries are smashed and the sage leaves are bruised and fragrant.
* Add the lemon juice and the cannabis tincture (10mg).
* Fill the glass with ice.
* Top with sparkling water or ginger ale.
* Stir gently to lift the muddled fruit and herbs from the bottom.
* Garnish with a fresh blackberry and a sage leaf on top.
CHEF TIPS:
The Sage: Don’t over-muddle the sage or it can become bitter; you just want to bruise it enough to release the oils.
The Texture: If you prefer a clear drink without fruit bits, muddle and shake the ingredients in a shaker first, then double-strain into a glass over fresh ice.
The Sweetener: If using ginger ale, you may want to reduce the simple syrup slightly as the soda provides its own sweetness.
Serve immediately. Enjoy the Blackberry & Sage Tavern Cooler responsibly 🫐🌿
