Step 1: Decarboxylation

Ingredients

3g cannabis flower

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C)
  2. Break cannabis into small pieces
  3. Spread evenly on parchment-lined baking sheet
  4. Bake 35–40 minutes
  5. Cool completely

Step 2: Cannabis-Infused Butter

Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter
Decarboxylated cannabis

Method

  1. Melt butter over very low heat.
  2. Add cannabis and keep temperature 160-180°F.
  3. Infuse gently for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Strain through cheesecloth.
  5. Reserve infused butter.

Step 3: Chicken Marinade

Ingredients

1½ lbs chicken breast or thighs (cubed)
¾ cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp salt

Method

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken pieces and mix well.

Step 4: Sear the Chicken

Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil

Method

  1. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add marinated chicken.
  3. Cook 5–6 minutes, lightly charring edges.
  4. Remove and set aside.

Step 5: Tikka Masala Sauce

Ingredients

2 tbsp cannabis-infused butter
1 small onion (finely diced)
3 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chili powder
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup heavy cream
salt to taste

Method

  1. Melt infused butter in skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and cook 5 minutes until soft.
  3. Add garlic and ginger; cook 1 minute.
  4. Stir in garam masala, turmeric, and chili powder.
  5. Pour in tomato sauce and simmer 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream.
  7. Return chicken to the sauce.
  8. Simmer 10 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
