Step 1: Decarboxylation
Ingredients
1.5g cannabis flower
Method
- Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C)
- Break cannabis into small pieces
- Spread evenly on parchment lined baking tray
- Bake 35–40 minutes
- Remove and cool completely
Step 2: Cannabis-Infused Chili Oil
Ingredients
1 cup neutral oil (grapeseed or peanut)
Decarboxylated cannabis
2 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp sesame seeds
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
Method
- Heat oil in saucepan to 180°F
- Add decarbed cannabis
- Maintain temperature 160–180°F
- Infuse 2 hours, stirring occasionally
- Strain through cheesecloth
To finish chili oil:
- Place chili flakes, garlic, sesame seeds, sugar, and salt in bowl
- Heat infused oil to 200°F
- Pour hot oil over mixture
- Stir and cool
Reserve 3 tbsp for dumplings
Step 3: Dumpling Filling
Ingredients
½ lb ground pork
1 cup finely chopped napa cabbage
2 green onions, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
½ tsp white pepper
Method
- Combine all ingredients in bowl
- Mix thoroughly until sticky and well combined
- Chill 15 minutes
Step 4: Dumpling Assembly

Filling mixture
Small bowl water
Method
- Place wrapper flat in palm
- Add 1 tablespoon filling to center
- Dip finger in water and moisten edge
- Fold wrapper in half
- Pleat edges and seal tightly
- Repeat until all dumplings are filled
Step 5: Pan Fry Dumplings
Ingredients
2 tbsp neutral oil
½ cup water
Method
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat
- Add oil
- Arrange dumplings flat side down
- Cook 2–3 minutes until bottoms are golden
- Add water and immediately cover
- Steam 5 minutes
- Remove lid and cook until water evaporates
Bottoms should be crispy and golden.
Step 6: Chili Oil Toss
Ingredients
3 tbsp cannabis chili oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sugar
Method
- Whisk chili oil, soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar
- Pour over hot dumplings
- Toss gently to coat
