Cannabis-Infused Crispy Truffle Chicken & Honey Butter Biscuit Sliders

Golden, shatter-crisp buttermilk fried chicken layered inside flaky pull-apart honey butter biscuits, finished with black truffle aioli and hot honey drizzle. Comfort food — upgraded.


A Note on Dosing

This recipe makes 8 sliders.

Using 1.5g of 15% THC flower:

~55mg THC total (infused into the truffle aioli)
~6.5–7mg per slider

Alternative Dosing:
• 1g flower → ~4mg per slider
• 2g flower → ~9mg per slider

Terpene Pairing Suggestion: Caryophyllene enhances fried spice warmth. Limonene brightens honey and truffle richness.


Step 1: Cannabis-Infused Olive Oil (For Aioli)

Ingredients:
• 1.5g cannabis flower
• ½ cup olive oil

Decarboxylation:

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C).
  2. Grind flower evenly and spread on parchment-lined tray.
  3. Bake 35–40 minutes until lightly golden and aromatic.
  4. Cool completely.

Infusion:

  1. Warm olive oil on lowest heat (keep under 180°F).
  2. Add decarbed cannabis.
  3. Maintain low heat for 2 hours. Do not simmer.
  4. Strain through cheesecloth.
  5. Reserve 3 tablespoons for aioli (rest can be stored).

Step 2: Truffle Aioli

Ingredients:
• ¾ cup mayonnaise
• 3 tbsp cannabis-infused olive oil
• 1 tsp black truffle paste
• 1 small garlic clove, grated
• 1 tsp lemon juice
• Pinch salt

Method:

  1. Whisk all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes to develop flavor.

Step 3: Buttermilk Fried Chicken

Ingredients:
• 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut slider-sized
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup flour
• ½ cup cornstarch
• 1 tsp black pepper
• Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, and salt for 2 hours (or overnight).
  2. Combine flour, cornstarch, and pepper.
  3. Dredge chicken pieces thoroughly.
  4. Fry at 350°F for 5–7 minutes until deeply golden and internal temp hits 165°F.
  5. Drain on rack.

Step 4: Honey Butter Biscuits

Ingredients:
• 8 small fresh biscuits (store-bought or homemade)
• 3 tbsp softened butter
• 1 tbsp honey
• Pinch flaky salt

Method:

  1. Mix butter and honey until whipped.
  2. Brush warm biscuits lightly with honey butter.
  3. Sprinkle with flaky salt.

Step 5: Assemble

  1. Split biscuits.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon infused truffle aioli on bottom half.
  3. Add crispy chicken.
  4. Drizzle lightly with hot honey (non-infused).
  5. Cap with biscuit top.

Serve warm.
