Chewy Fusion Dessert – St. Patrick’s Day

Fudgy dark chocolate brownie layered with emerald-tinted black sesame mochi, cut into glossy, chewy bite-sized cubes. The cannabis is infused into the butter for consistent distribution. Dense, stretchy, nutty, and completely different texture territory.


A Note on Dosing

This recipe makes 25 bite-sized cubes.

Using 1.5g of 15% THC flower:

~55mg THC total (infused into butter)
~2mg per cube
~4mg per 2-piece serving

Alternative Dosing:
• 1g flower → ~3mg per 2-piece serving
• 2g flower → ~6mg per 2-piece serving

Terpene Pairing Suggestion: Myrcene enhances chocolate depth; Limonene balances sesame richness.


Step 1: Cannabis-Infused Butter

Ingredients

• 1.5g cannabis flower
• 1 cup unsalted butter

Decarboxylation

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C).
  2. Break flower into small pieces.
  3. Spread evenly on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake 35–40 minutes.
  5. Cool completely.

Infusion

  1. Melt butter over very low heat.
  2. Add decarboxylated cannabis.
  3. Maintain temperature below 180°F (82°C) for 2 hours.
  4. Stir every 15 minutes.
  5. Strain thoroughly through cheesecloth.
  6. Chill until solid.

Step 2: Brownie Base

Ingredients

• ½ cup cannabis-infused butter (melted)
• ¾ cup sugar
• ½ cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• ½ cup cocoa powder
• ¾ cup flour
• ½ teaspoon salt

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. Whisk melted infused butter with sugars.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla; whisk until glossy.
  4. Fold in cocoa, flour, and salt.
  5. Spread evenly in parchment-lined 8x8 pan.
  6. Bake 18–20 minutes.
  7. Cool completely.

Step 3: Black Sesame Mochi Layer

Ingredients

• 1 cup sweet rice flour
• ¾ cup sugar
• 1 cup coconut milk
• 2 tablespoons black sesame paste
• 1 teaspoon matcha (for emerald tint)

  1. Whisk rice flour and sugar.
  2. Add coconut milk and sesame paste; mix smooth.
  3. Stir in matcha until green tone achieved.
  4. Pour over cooled brownie base.
  5. Bake 20–25 minutes until set and slightly glossy.
  6. Cool fully before cutting.

Step 4: Portion & Finish

  1. Chill 1 hour for clean cuts.
  2. Slice into 25 even cubes.
  3. Lightly dust with cocoa powder or powdered sugar.
