Tangy house-fermented dill pickle purée blended with whipped cream cheese, fresh herbs, cracked pepper, and finished with a precisely dosed cannabis-infused dill oil. Sharp, funky, savory — built for chips, rye toast, or potato crisps.


A Note on Dosing

This recipe makes 8 appetizer servings.

Using 1.5g of 15% THC flower:

~55mg THC total (infused into dill oil)
~6–7mg per serving

Alternative Dosing:
• 1g flower → ~4–5mg per serving
• 2g flower → ~9–10mg per serving

Terpene Pairing Suggestion: Pinene and Limonene-forward strains enhance herbal brightness and acidity.


Step 1: Cannabis-Infused Dill Oil

Ingredients

• 1.5g cannabis flower
• ½ cup light olive oil
• 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped

Decarboxylation Method

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C).
  2. Break cannabis into small pieces.
  3. Spread on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake 35–40 minutes.
  5. Cool completely.

Infusion Method

  1. Heat olive oil to 160–170°F.
  2. Add decarboxylated cannabis.
  3. Maintain temperature for 2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
  4. Strain thoroughly through cheesecloth.
  5. Stir in chopped dill after cooling slightly.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Shelf life: 7–10 days refrigerated.


Step 2: Fermented Pickle Base

Ingredients

• 2 cups chopped fermented dill pickles
• ½ cup pickle brine
• 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup sour cream
• 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
• 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
• 2 tablespoons fresh chopped chives

  1. Blend pickles and brine into a coarse purée.
  2. In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add sour cream and mustard; mix thoroughly.
  4. Fold in pickle purée.
  5. Stir in black pepper and chives.

Step 3: Dose & Finish

  1. Transfer dip to serving bowl.
  2. Drizzle 1 tablespoon cannabis-infused dill oil per serving evenly over surface before portioning.
  3. Garnish with extra dill and cracked pepper.

Serve with rye crisps, kettle chips, or sliced potatoes.
