Step 1: Cannabis-Infused Dill Oil
Ingredients
• 1.5g cannabis flower
• ½ cup light olive oil
• 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
Decarboxylation Method
- Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C).
- Break cannabis into small pieces.
- Spread on parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake 35–40 minutes.
- Cool completely.
Infusion Method
- Heat olive oil to 160–170°F.
- Add decarboxylated cannabis.
- Maintain temperature for 2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Strain thoroughly through cheesecloth.
- Stir in chopped dill after cooling slightly.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
Shelf life: 7–10 days refrigerated.
Step 2: Fermented Pickle Base
Ingredients
• 2 cups chopped fermented dill pickles
• ½ cup pickle brine
• 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup sour cream
• 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
• 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
• 2 tablespoons fresh chopped chives
- Blend pickles and brine into a coarse purée.
- In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sour cream and mustard; mix thoroughly.
- Fold in pickle purée.
- Stir in black pepper and chives.
Step 3: Dose & Finish
- Transfer dip to serving bowl.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon cannabis-infused dill oil per serving evenly over surface before portioning.
- Garnish with extra dill and cracked pepper.
