Cannabis-Infused Emerald Irish Trash Mix

Sweet, salty, crunchy, and built for late-night grazing. This St. Patrick’s Day snack mix combines pretzels, cereal squares, chocolate candies, white chocolate drizzle, and emerald popcorn — all tossed in a cannabis-infused white chocolate coating for clean, consistent dosing. It’s messy in the best way and impossible to eat just one handful.

A Note on Dosing

This recipe makes 12 snack portions.

Using 1.5g of 15% THC flower:

~55mg THC total (infused into white chocolate coating)
~4–5mg per portion

For lighter servings:
• 1g flower → ~3mg per portion
• 2g flower → ~6–7mg per portion

Step 1: Cannabis-Infused Coconut Oil

Ingredients

• 1.5g cannabis flower
• 1/4 cup coconut oil

Decarboxylation

Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C).
Bake finely ground cannabis for 35–40 minutes. Cool completely.

Infusion

Warm coconut oil to 160–170°F (do not simmer).
Add decarboxylated cannabis.
Maintain low heat for 2 hours.
Strain thoroughly and cool slightly.

This oil contains the full THC content.

Step 2: Emerald White Chocolate Coating (Infused)

Ingredients

• 3 cups white chocolate chips
• 2 tablespoons cannabis-infused coconut oil
• Small pinch matcha for light emerald tone

Melt white chocolate gently in 20-second bursts.
Stir in measured infused oil until smooth.
Add matcha for tint.

Step 3: Snack Mix Base (Non-Infused)

Ingredients

• 2 cups mini pretzels
• 2 cups Rice Chex cereal
• 1 cup emerald popcorn
• 1 cup chocolate candies (green and gold)
• 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Combine in large bowl.

Step 4: Toss & Set

Pour emerald white chocolate coating evenly over mix.
Toss thoroughly to coat.

Spread onto parchment-lined sheet.
Sprinkle with:

• Green sugar
• Gold sprinkles
• Extra crushed pretzels

Allow to set completely.
Break into clusters.
