St. Patrick’s Day Late-Night Snack with Infused Truffle Oil

Air-popped popcorn tossed with freshly grated parmesan, cracked black pepper, and a measured drizzle of cannabis-infused white truffle oil. Light, savory, and built for controlled late-night dosing.


A Note on Dosing

This recipe makes 8 servings.

Using 1.5g of 15% THC flower:

~55mg THC total (infused into truffle oil)
~6–7mg per serving

Alternative Dosing:
• 1g flower → ~4–5mg per serving
• 2g flower → ~9–10mg per serving

Terpene Pairing Suggestion: Myrcene-forward strain complements earthy truffle and parmesan depth.


Step 1: Cannabis-Infused Truffle Oil

Ingredients

• 1.5g cannabis flower
• 1/3 cup neutral oil
• 1 teaspoon white truffle oil (added after infusion)

Decarboxylation Method

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C).
  2. Break cannabis into small pieces.
  3. Spread on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake 35–40 minutes.
  5. Cool completely.

Infusion Method

  1. Heat neutral oil to 160–170°F.
  2. Add decarboxylated cannabis.
  3. Maintain temperature for 2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
  4. Strain thoroughly through cheesecloth.
  5. Once cooled slightly, stir in white truffle oil.
  6. Store refrigerated.

Shelf life: 10 days refrigerated.


Step 2: Popcorn Base

Ingredients

• ½ cup popcorn kernels
• 2 tablespoons non-infused olive oil (for popping)
• ½ cup finely grated parmesan
• ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
• Salt to taste
• 2 tablespoons cannabis-infused truffle oil

  1. Heat olive oil in large pot over medium.
  2. Add kernels and cover.
  3. Shake occasionally until popping slows.
  4. Remove from heat immediately to prevent burning.
  5. Transfer popcorn to large mixing bowl.

Step 3: Dose & Toss

  1. Drizzle 2 tablespoons infused truffle oil evenly over popcorn.
  2. Toss thoroughly to distribute.
  3. Sprinkle parmesan, pepper, and salt.
  4. Toss again to coat evenly.
