A Note on Dosing


This recipe makes 20 crostini.


Using 1.5g of 15% THC flower:


~55mg THC total (infused into chili honey)

~2.5–3mg per crostini

~7–9mg per 3-piece serving


Alternative Dosing:

• 1g flower → ~4–5mg per 3-piece serving

• 2g flower → ~10–12mg per 3-piece serving


Terpene Pairing Suggestion: Caryophyllene-dominant strain to complement the peppery chili heat and toasted bread.

Step 1: Cannabis-Infused Chili Honey


Ingredients


• 1.5g cannabis flower

• ½ cup raw honey

• ½ teaspoon red chili flakes


Decarboxylation Method


1. Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C).



2. Break cannabis into small pieces.



3. Spread on parchment-lined baking sheet.



4. Bake 35–40 minutes until lightly golden.



5. Cool completely.




Infusion Method


1. Place honey and decarboxylated cannabis in a heatproof jar.



2. Set jar in a saucepan with water halfway up the sides (double boiler method).



3. Maintain water temperature between 160–180°F for 2 hours.



4. Stir gently every 20 minutes.



5. Strain through cheesecloth while warm.



6. Stir in chili flakes.



7. Cool and refrigerate.




Shelf life: 2–3 weeks refrigerated.

Step 2: Emerald Pistachio Ricotta Spread


Ingredients


• 1 cup whole milk ricotta

• ¼ cup finely crushed pistachios

• 1 teaspoon lemon zest

• 1 tablespoon olive oil

• Pinch salt


1. In a bowl, whip ricotta until smooth and airy.



2. Fold in crushed pistachios and lemon zest.



3. Stir in olive oil and salt.



4. Chill 30 minutes for structure.

Step 3: Crostini Assembly


Ingredients


• 1 baguette, sliced into 20 pieces

• Olive oil for brushing


1. Preheat oven to 375°F.



2. Brush baguette slices lightly with olive oil.



3. Toast 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.



4. Cool completely.

1. Spread 1–2 tablespoons ricotta mixture onto each crostini.



2. Drizzle ½ teaspoon infused chili honey per crostini.
