Cannabis-Infused Loaded Chili Cheese Tater Tot Skillet

Step 1 — Decarboxylation

Ingredients

3 g cannabis flower

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 230°F (110°C)
  2. Break cannabis into small pieces
  3. Spread on parchment-lined baking sheet
  4. Bake 35–40 minutes
  5. Allow cannabis to cool completely

Step 2 — Cannabis-Infused Chili Oil

Ingredients

½ cup neutral oil
1 tsp chili flakes
Decarboxylated cannabis

Method

  1. Add oil, chili flakes, and cannabis to a saucepan.
  2. Heat gently between 160–180°F.
  3. Infuse 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Strain through cheesecloth.
  5. Store in a sealed jar.

Step 3 — Quick Chili

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion diced
2 cloves garlic minced
1 cup crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp paprika
1 tsp salt

Method

  1. Heat skillet over medium heat.
  2. Brown ground beef 5–6 minutes.
  3. Add onion and garlic.
  4. Cook 3 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, and spices.
  6. Simmer 10 minutes.

Step 4 — Tater Tot Base

Ingredients

1 bag frozen tater tots

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Spread tater tots in a cast iron skillet.
  3. Bake 20–25 minutes until crispy.

Step 5 — Assemble Skillet

Ingredients

Cooked chili
Crispy tater tots
1½ cups shredded cheddar
Sliced jalapeños
Green onions
1 tsp cannabis-infused chili oil

Method

  1. Pour chili over baked tater tots.
  2. Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly.
  3. Return skillet to oven 5 minutes until cheese melts.
  4. Top with jalapeños and green onions.
  5. Drizzle lightly with infused chili oil.
