Cannabis-Infused Maple Bourbon Glaze

A glossy, sweet-smoky cannabis glaze built for brushing onto meats, roasted vegetables, wings, salmon, and grilled dishes. Rich maple sweetness with a subtle bourbon warmth and terpene depth.


A Note on Dosing

This recipe makes 1 cup glaze

Using 3g cannabis at 15% THC

≈450mg THC total
≈14mg THC per tablespoon

Adjust potency by adjusting cannabis quantity.

Step 1: Decarboxylation

Ingredients

3g cannabis flower

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C)
  2. Break cannabis into small pieces
  3. Spread evenly on parchment lined tray
  4. Bake 35–40 minutes
  5. Cool completely

Step 2: Infuse Butter Base

Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter
Decarboxylated cannabis

Method

  1. Melt butter in saucepan on low heat
  2. Add cannabis
  3. Maintain 160–180°F
  4. Infuse 2 hours, stirring occasionally
  5. Strain through cheesecloth

Step 3: Build Maple Bourbon Glaze

Ingredients

½ cup pure maple syrup
2 tbsp bourbon
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp sea salt

Method

  1. Add maple syrup to saucepan
  2. Stir in bourbon and vinegar
  3. Add mustard, paprika, and salt
  4. Simmer gently 5 minutes

Step 4: Finish the Glaze

Method

  1. Stir ½ cup infused butter into warm glaze
  2. Whisk until glossy and emulsified
  3. Allow to thicken slightly

Storage

Refrigerate in sealed jar

Good for 2 weeks

Reheat gently before use.

• Brush onto grilled ribs
