Cannabis-Infused Passionfruit Chili Margarita

Bright tropical passionfruit, fresh lime, and a subtle chili kick come together in this bold margarita finished with cannabis-infused agave syrup for a smooth, controlled elevated cocktail.

Step 1 — Decarboxylation

Ingredients

3 g cannabis flower

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 230°F (110°C)
  2. Break cannabis into small pieces
  3. Spread evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet
  4. Bake 35–40 minutes
  5. Allow cannabis to cool completely

Step 2 — Cannabis-Infused Agave Syrup

Ingredients

1 cup agave nectar
½ cup water
Decarboxylated cannabis

Method

  1. Add agave, water, and cannabis to a small saucepan.
  2. Heat gently between 160–180°F.
  3. Infuse 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Strain through cheesecloth.
  5. Store syrup in a sealed bottle.

Step 3 — Chili Salt Rim

Ingredients

2 tbsp coarse salt
½ tsp chili powder
½ tsp lime zest

Method

  1. Mix salt, chili powder, and lime zest in a shallow plate.
  2. Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass.
  3. Dip rim into chili salt mixture.

Step 4 — Cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz tequila
1 oz passionfruit juice
¾ oz fresh lime juice
¾ oz cannabis-infused agave syrup
2 thin chili slices
Ice

Method

  1. Add tequila, passionfruit juice, lime juice, infused agave, and chili slices to a shaker.
  2. Fill shaker with ice.
  3. Shake 15 seconds.
  4. Strain into an ice-filled glass with chili salt rim.

Step 5 — Garnish

Ingredients

Passionfruit half
Lime wheel
Fresh chili slice

Method

  1. Garnish cocktail with passionfruit and lime wheel.
  2. Add a thin chili slice on top.
