Step 1: Decarboxylation
Ingredients
3g cannabis flower
Method
- Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C)
- Break cannabis into small pieces
- Spread evenly on parchment lined baking tray
- Bake 35–40 minutes
- Cool completely
Step 2: Infuse Coconut Oil
Ingredients
1 cup coconut oil
Decarboxylated cannabis
Method
- Melt coconut oil in saucepan on low heat
- Add cannabis
- Maintain 160–180°F
- Infuse 2 hours, stirring occasionally
- Strain through cheesecloth
Step 3: Vanilla Bean Finish
Ingredients
1 whole vanilla bean
½ tsp sea salt (optional)
Method
- Slice vanilla bean lengthwise
- Scrape seeds into warm infused oil
- Add empty pod to oil
- Stir thoroughly
- Allow to steep 20 minutes
Remove pod before storing.
Storage
Refrigerated: 1 month
Room temperature: 2 weeks
Keep sealed in glass jar.
