CAPERBERRY & LEMON SPRITZER 🍸🍋

A sophisticated, brine-forward, and cannabis-infused aperitif. This mocktail moves away from traditional sweetness, utilizing the floral, salty punch of muddled caperberries against a backdrop of bright lemon. It is a crisp, savory, and highly refreshing drink designed to stimulate the palate.

RECIPE INFO:

Category: Beverage / Savory Spritzer

Difficulty: Easy

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 1

THC per serving: Approximately 10mg THC per serving

TERPENE PAIRING:

Best paired with strains high in Limonene or Alpha-Pinene. Limonene mirrors the sharp citrus of the lemon, while Pinene highlights the resinous, herbal notes found within the caperberry brine.

DOSAGE INFORMATION:

Each serving contains approximately 10mg THC. This is a moderate dose. Adjust based on your personal tolerance and the potency of your tincture.

PLEASE CONSUME RESPONSIBLY AND START LOW, GO SLOW!

Keep out of reach of children and pets. Effects may take 30-90 minutes to onset. Wait at least 2 hours before considering additional consumption. Do not drive or operate machinery.

INGREDIENTS:

 * 10mg THC total cannabis tincture

 * 3 large caperberries (plus 1 for garnish)

 * 1 oz fresh lemon juice

 * 1/2 oz simple syrup

 * 4-5 oz chilled soda water

 * Fresh ice

 * Garnish: A whole caperberry and a thin lemon wheel

INSTRUCTIONS:

 * In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, place 3 caperberries (stems removed) and muddle them thoroughly to release their brine and oils.

 * Add the fresh lemon juice and simple syrup.

 * Add the cannabis tincture (10mg).

 * Fill with ice and shake briefly to chill and integrate the flavors.

 * Double strain (to remove caperberry bits) into a wine glass or coupe filled with fresh ice.

 * Top with chilled soda water and stir gently.

 * Garnish with a whole caperberry (on a pick) and a lemon wheel.

CHEF TIPS:

The Brine: For an extra savory kick, add a teaspoon of the brine from the caperberry jar directly into the shaker.

Texture: Double straining is important here to ensure the drink remains clear and elegant, as muddled caperberries can be fibrous.

The Berry: Caperberries are milder and more floral than standard capers; do not substitute regular capers as they will be far too salty for this balance.

Serve immediately. Enjoy the Caperberry & Lemon Spritzer responsibly 🍸🍋
