How to Make Shelf-Stable Canna-Honey
(the golden, potent spread that never spoils – perfect for tea, toast, or direct dosing)

Canna-honey is honey infused with cannabis: naturally antibacterial, indefinite shelf life, and fat-like binding for excellent cannabinoid absorption. Low water content keeps it safe and stable forever when done right.

What you need (for ~16 oz @ 600 mg THC total)
- 3.0 g flower @ 22–25 % THC (or 1.5 g good kief/live rosin) → ~600 mg usable THC
- 2 cups (680 g) raw or pasteurized honey (raw preferred for flavor/enzymes)
- ½ tsp liquid sunflower lecithin (essential for even distribution and bioavailability)

Decarboxylation
240 °F for 40 minutes in sealed mason jar → cool completely.

Infusion method (low-heat, long for cleanest results)

1. Warm honey + lecithin in jar to 170 °F (double boiler or sous-vide) → stir until lecithin dissolves fully.

2. Add decarbed material → seal → maintain 160–170 °F for 3–4 hours (sous-vide ideal – no scorching).

3. Strain aggressively: fine mesh + cheesecloth → press hard for clear honey.

4. Optional ultra-clear: coffee filter final pass (slow but glass-like).

Results
- Color: deep golden-amber
- Flavor: rich honey with subtle toasted cannabis note (lecithin smooths it)
- Texture: thick, spreadable
- Shelf life: indefinite at room temp (honey's natural preservatives + low water activity)

Dosing examples
- 1 tsp ≈ 10–15 mg THC (test your batch)
- Drizzle in tea = warm lift
- Spoonful on toast = elevated breakfast

Storage
Airtight glass jar → cool dark place forever
No fridge needed (crystallization possible, rewarm to liquify)

Pro tips
- Live rosin = fastest/cleanest (dissolves in hours, no straining).
- Raw honey retains more enzymes/flavor – pasteurized easier to work with.
- For stronger: use higher potency input or reduce final volume.
- Add flavors post-strain: cinnamon, ginger, or citrus zest for custom blends.
- Never boil – kills honey benefits and degrades THC.

This canna-honey is the pantry staple that outlasts everything else.
One jar elevates tea, yogurt, cheese boards indefinitely.
Golden potency unlocked.
Spread responsibly.
