Infusing Alcohol With Cannabis: Full Tutorial
(the cleanest, fastest, strongest method we’ve ever used)
This is the pro-level wash that gives crystal-clear, flavor-neutral cannabis tincture ready for cocktails, coffee, or straight drops. Zero heat, zero plant taste, 90+ % extraction in 15 minutes.
What you need for 1000 mg tincture
- 1 g high-quality flower @ 22–25 % THC (or 0.5 g good kief) → ~220 mg usable
- 100 ml 190-proof (95 %) Everclear or high-proof neutral spirit
- 1 tsp liquid sunflower lecithin (food-grade)
- Small mason jar + coffee filter or 90-micron bag
Decarboxylation (do not skip)
240 °F for 40 minutes in a sealed mason jar → cool completely
The 15-minute wash method
1. Break decarbed flower into rice-sized pieces (no powder).
2. Put flower + lecithin in a small mason jar.
3. Add 100 ml Everclear → seal tight → shake hard for 2 full minutes.
4. Let sit 5 minutes → shake again 1 minute.
5. Repeat shake-sit-shake once more (total 15 minutes active time).
6. Strain immediately through coffee filter or 90-micron bag into a clean jar.
Squeeze hard → you’ll get 80–90 ml golden liquid.
7. Optional second wash: add 50 ml fresh Everclear to the strained plant material, shake 2 minutes, strain again → combine.
Result
First wash: 180–210 mg THC in 80–90 ml (90–95 % extraction)
With second wash: 215–225 mg total
Clear, slightly golden, absolutely neutral taste.
Dosing
100 ml bottle = ~2 mg per ml (first wash only)
Dropper bottle → 1 ml = 2 mg, 0.5 ml = 1 mg
Perfect for microdosing or cocktails.
