OLIVE BRINE & CITRUS SPLASH 🫒🍊

A bold, unconventional, and cannabis-infused cooler that plays with the sharp contrast of salty brine and bright citrus. This "savory screwdriver" style drink uses olive brine to add weight and depth to the acidity of orange juice. Infused with cannabis tincture and finished with a bite of black pepper, it is a sophisticated, refreshing, and deeply savory tonic.

RECIPE INFO:

Category: Beverage / Mocktail

Difficulty: Easy

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 2

THC per serving: Approximately 10mg THC per serving

TERPENE PAIRING:

Best paired with strains high in Limonene or Beta-Caryophyllene. Limonene amplifies the citrus brightness, while Caryophyllene bridges the gap between the salty olive notes and the spice of the black pepper.

DOSAGE INFORMATION:

Each serving contains approximately 10mg THC. This is a moderate dose. Adjust based on your personal tolerance and the potency of your tincture.

PLEASE CONSUME RESPONSIBLY AND START LOW, GO SLOW!

Keep out of reach of children and pets. Effects may take 30-90 minutes to onset. Wait at least 2 hours before considering additional consumption. Do not drive or operate machinery.

INGREDIENTS:

 * 20mg THC total cannabis tincture

 * 2 oz green olive brine (from the jar)

 * 6 oz fresh-squeezed orange juice (pulp-free is best)

 * 4 oz chilled soda water

 * Fresh ice

 * 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

 * Garnish: Castelvetrano olives and an orange twist

INSTRUCTIONS:

 * Fill two highball glasses with fresh ice.

 * In a small pitcher or mixing glass, combine the fresh orange juice and olive brine.

 * Add the cannabis tincture (20mg total).

 * Add half of the cracked black pepper to the juice mixture and stir well to integrate the tincture.

 * Divide the mixture evenly between the two glasses.

 * Top each glass with 2 oz of chilled soda water.

 * Give it a very gentle stir to preserve the bubbles.

 * Garnish with a skewer of buttery Castelvetrano olives and a twist of orange peel.

 * Finish with a final crack of black pepper over the top of the glass.

CHEF TIPS:

The Brine Choice: Use Castelvetrano olive brine for a milder, more buttery saltiness. If you prefer a sharp, vinegary punch, go with standard Manzanilla olive brine.

Juice Quality: Freshly squeezed orange juice is non-negotiable here; the bottled versions are often too sweet and lack the necessary acidity to balance the brine.

The Pepper: Black pepper contains piperine, which can help with the absorption of certain cannabinoids and adds a necessary "bite" that mimics the burn of alcohol.

Serve immediately. Enjoy the Olive Brine & Citrus Splash responsibly 🫒🍊
