PRO CHEF BOTANICAL TINCTURE 🧪✨🌿

A clean, potent, and ultra-versatile alcohol-based extract designed for precise culinary dosing and long-term shelf stability.

RECIPE INFO:

Category: Gourmet Infusion / Base Ingredient

Difficulty: Medium

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Infusion Time: 2 hours (Quick Wash Method)

Total Time: 2 hours 15 minutes

Servings: Approximately 30ml (approx. 30-40 doses)

THC per serving: Approximately 10-15mg per 1ml dropper (variable)

TERPENE PAIRING:

Because this is a concentrate, it pairs best with the native terpenes of the strain used. Strains high in Limonene or Pinene produce a bright, "gin-like" botanical extract that excels in seafood glazes and citrus-forward beverages.

DOSAGE INFORMATION:

A standard 1ml dropper will contain approximately 10-15mg of THC if using 20% THC flower. This is a highly concentrated extract. It is designed to be added to finished dishes or drinks rather than consumed directly.

PLEASE CONSUME RESPONSIBLY AND START LOW, GO SLOW!

Keep out of reach of children and pets. Alcohol-based tinctures have a faster onset (15-45 minutes) when taken sublingually. Do not drive or operate machinery.

INGREDIENTS:

 * 7 grams high-quality cannabis flower

 * 4 oz (approx. 120ml) 190-proof grain alcohol or culinary solvent

 * Amber glass dropper bottles (for storage)

DECARBOXYLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

 * Preheat oven to 240°F.

 * Break the cannabis flower into small pieces (do not grind to a powder yet).

 * Spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

 * Bake for 40 minutes to fully activate the compounds.

 * Remove and allow to cool completely.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:

 * Once the decarboxylated flower is cool, place it in a clean glass mason jar.

 * Place the jar of flower AND the bottle of 190-proof alcohol in the freezer for at least 2 hours.

 * Once both are ice-cold, pour the alcohol over the flower, ensuring the liquid covers the plant material by at least one inch.

 * Close the lid and shake vigorously for 3 minutes.

 * Return the jar to the freezer for another 2 hours, shaking it once more halfway through.

 * Place a high-density coffee filter inside a fine-mesh sieve over a clean glass bowl.

 * Pour the mixture through the filter. Do not squeeze the filter, as this can force bitter chlorophyll and particulates into your clean tincture; let it drip naturally.

 * If the liquid is not perfectly clear, repeat the filtration process with a fresh filter.

 * Transfer the final amber liquid into amber glass dropper bottles using a small funnel.

 * Store in a cool, dark place. The high alcohol content makes this shelf-stable indefinitely.

CHEF TIPS:

For a "Double Strength" tincture, you can perform an evaporation reduction. Place your strained tincture in a glass bowl in a well-ventilated area (away from any open flames or sparks) and allow half of the alcohol to evaporate naturally. This doubles the concentration, making it ideal for high-end cocktails where you want maximum potency with minimum liquid volume.
