Decarboxylation
3.0 g flower @ 22–25 % THC (or 1.5 g good kief)
240 °F for 40 minutes in sealed mason jar → ~600 mg usable THC
Infusion
½ cup (170 g) honey + ½ tsp liquid sunflower lecithin
Warm to 170 °F → add decarbed material → sous-vide 185 °F for 2 hours
Strain hard → crystal-clear 600 mg THC honey
Honeycomb Base
All 600 mg THC honey
1½ cups (300 g) granulated sugar
½ cup (120 ml) light corn syrup
1 tbsp baking soda (sifted)
Flaky sea salt (Maldon or fleur de sel) for finishing
Steps
1. Line 8×8 pan with parchment overhang → lightly oil.
2. In heavy deep pot: sugar + corn syrup + THC honey → cook medium-high to 300 °F (hard-crack) without stirring (brush sides with water if crystals form).
3. Remove from heat → quickly whisk in sifted baking soda (foams dramatically – work fast).
4. Pour immediately into pan (do NOT spread – preserves bubbles) → sprinkle sea salt lightly over top.
5. Cool 1 hour → shatter into 60 irregular pieces.

Airtight tin with parchment → room temp 1 month
