INGREDIENTS:
* 10mg THC total cannabis tincture
* 6 oz tomato juice (or premium spicy Mary mix)
* 1 tsp smoked oyster liquor (reserved from the tin)
* 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
* 1/2 tsp prepared horseradish
* 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
* 2 dashes hot sauce (such as Tabasco)
* A pinch of celery salt and cracked black pepper
* Fresh ice
* Garnish: One tinned smoked oyster, a lemon wedge, and a celery stalk
INSTRUCTIONS:
* In a shaker or large mixing glass, combine the tomato juice, smoked oyster liquor, lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire, and hot sauce.
* Add the cannabis tincture (10mg).
* Add a pinch of celery salt and a generous amount of cracked black pepper.
* Fill the shaker with ice and "roll" the drink (pour it back and forth between two containers) 5 or 6 times. This mixes the ingredients without over-aerating the tomato juice.
* Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
* Skewer a smoked oyster along with a lemon wedge.
* Garnish the glass with the skewer and a crisp stalk of celery.
CHEF TIPS:
The Oyster Liquor: Don't throw away the oil or water in the smoked oyster tin! That liquid contains the concentrated smoky essence that makes this drink unique.
The Roll: Never shake a Mary. Shaking creates too much foam and thins out the texture. Rolling keeps it thick and velvety.
Spice Control: If you prefer a "Red Snapper" style, add a splash of non-alcoholic gin alternative for botanical complexity.
Serve immediately. Enjoy the Smoked Oyster Mary responsibly 🍅🦪
