Spiced Chai Canna-Latte

(The 30 mg hug you drink when the world is too loud)

This is the edible that makes you put your phone on Do Not Disturb, wrap yourself in a blanket, and realize everything is actually going to be okay. Rich black tea, warm winter spices, real milk fat for perfect absorption, and a fat 30 mg that sneaks up slow and gentle.

Makes 2 large mugs (16 oz each) · Total batch 60 mg active THC (30 mg per mug)

Daily Allowance Snapshot (per 16 oz mug)

Calories  265

Total Fat  18 g

Carbs  18 g

Active THC  30 mg

Allergens: Dairy

Decarb & Infusion (do the night before)

- 0.45–0.5 g flower @ 20–22 % THC

- Decarb 240 °F × 40 min → ~60–65 mg usable

- Infuse into ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter + 1 cup whole milk at 175 °F for 2½ hours (jar in water bath). Strain hard → 1¼ cups golden chai milk with exactly 60 mg THC

Chai Concentrate (makes enough for 6–8 lattes, keeps forever)

4 black tea bags (Assam or English breakfast)

2 cups water

6 cardamom pods, cracked

6 cloves

1 star anise

2 cinnamon sticks

½ inch fresh ginger, sliced

4 black peppercorns

¼ cup brown sugar or date syrup

Pinch salt

→ Simmer everything except tea bags for 15 min on low. Add tea bags, steep 5 min off heat. Strain → dark, spicy concentrate.

Per latte (the 5-minute version)

¾ cup of your infused chai milk (60 mg total split across two lattes)

⅓ cup chai concentrate

¼ tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp honey or maple (optional, to taste)

Pinch extra cinnamon + fresh grated nutmeg on top

Steps

1. Warm the infused chai milk + concentrate in a small pot on low until steaming (never boil).

2. Add vanilla and sweetener. Froth with a milk frother or whisk hard for 30 seconds.

3. Pour into two big mugs. Dust with cinnamon and nutmeg.

4. Hand one to someone you love. Keep the other.

Effect timeline

- 45–90 min onset (fat + warm liquid = fastest edible absorption)

- Peak at hour 2–3

- 6–9 hour gentle landing

Zero anxiety, full-body warmth, music sounds better, and the universe feels like it’s giving you a long hug.

Storage

Keep leftover infused chai milk in the fridge → 5 days. Reheat gently. The concentrate lives in the fridge for months.

When life feels like static, this is the off switch. One mug and the volume knob on the entire world drops to a cozy 3. Drink it slow. You’ve earned this.
