Vanilla Rose THC Turkish Delight

Decarboxylation

What you'll need:
- Cannabis flower (use 8 grams for approximately 10mg THC per piece when cut into 36 pieces, assuming 15% THC flower strength—adjust based on your strain's lab test for accuracy)
- Oven
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Grinder

Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 240°F (115°C).
2. Break flower into small pieces, grind coarsely.
3. Spread evenly on parchment-lined baking sheet.
4. Bake 30-40 minutes, stir halfway.
5. Cool completely—it turns light brownish-green when ready.

Infusion (Canna-Simple Syrup)

What you'll need:
- Decarboxylated cannabis (from above)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Saucepan
- Cheesecloth or fine strainer

Steps:
1. Combine water and sugar in saucepan, heat until sugar dissolves.
2. Add decarboxylated cannabis.
3. Simmer on low 1-2 hours (160-180°F), stir occasionally—do not boil hard.
4. Cool slightly, strain through cheesecloth into container, squeeze gently.
5. This is your canna-simple syrup (about 1 cup yield).

Recipe (makes about 36 pieces)

Ingredients:
- 1 cup canna-simple syrup (from above)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup cornstarch (plus extra for dusting)
- 3 cups water (divided)
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Pink food coloring (optional, a few drops)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
- 1/4 cup cornstarch (for dusting)

Steps:
1. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment, dust generously with cornstarch/powdered sugar mix.
2. In bowl, whisk cornstarch with 1 cup cold water until smooth.
3. In large saucepan, combine canna-simple syrup, granulated sugar, and remaining 2 cups water.
4. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
5. Slowly whisk in cornstarch slurry.
6. Reduce heat to low, cook 45-60 minutes, stirring constantly with wooden spoon—mixture thickens to very heavy paste that pulls from sides.
7. Remove from heat, stir in rose water, vanilla, and food coloring.
8. Pour into prepared pan, smooth top.
9. Cool at room temperature 4-6 hours or overnight until firm.
10. Dust board with powdered sugar/cornstarch mix, unmold block, cut into 36 squares with oiled knife.
11. Toss pieces in dusting mix to coat fully.

Each piece contains approximately 10mg THC (based on 8g of 15% THC flower divided into 36 pieces; actual potency varies—start with half a piece and wait 2 hours). The soft, chewy texture with delicate rose and vanilla is classic Turkish delight. Store in airtight container layered with dusting mix up to 2 weeks.
